We can't thank Cheryl enough for her gentle and caring experience she provided. From the moment she stepped into our home, we all felt at peace with her genuine kindness and care for our poorly Coops. She made us all feel at ease and made it personal for us to say our goodbyes and the thought built with the after care. It's a challenging job but we can see why Cheryl suited the role with her kind nature and expertise. We can't thank you enough to make the last steps towards the rainbow bridge a special one. Our beautiful boy Frankie had pancreatic cancer and we had to make the painful decision to let him have his final long sleep.  We wanted to do this at home, in his favourite spot with all of his family there.  Cheryl was amazing, so responsive and able to come at short notice.  Her compassion with Frankie and us was truly special at a very painful moment in our lives.  She was very calming and able to put us at ease, she explained everything in a caring way and made it easy for us to understand what would happen. My baby girl Bella I have had since I was just turning 7. Shes made me laugh every day since, shes been a pain in my ass and my bestest friend. She hated water and loved to go for walks, she had a heart shaped nose when she was a puppy and then gained a burn scar on it after sniffing something too hot. She didn’t care much for playing fetch but could play tug and wrestle all day, she could jump on the bungalow roof but had selective hearing when I asked her to give me her paw or do a spin. She was so emotionally intelligent even if you caught her licking walls, she had the cheesiest smile and a fox like tail. The day I got her we drove two hours away to god knows where on that specific farm, we met the farmer who took us to his stables. There were so many border collie puppies to choose from, then in one separate stable there she was curled up and shaking. He told us he was “waiting for her to die” as she was the runt of the litter, this you could tell as she was a lot smaller and a lot weaker, she had a healing wound covering the entirety of her lower back caused by the other dogs attacking her over food (she was frequently violently attacked). I immediately picked her up and took her home, I’ll never forget when we drove home and she slept on my lap the entire way. I’ve not been able to give her the perfect life, we struggled with her fear of other dogs and territorial problems. But I gave her 14 more years of life and I hope they were wonderful for her. She got sick in the end and we had to say goodbye. Cheryl provided the most peaceful euthanasia, she was so so patient, passionate, kind, calming and respectful. She asked questions and studied the room when she entered, she understood the vibe and was so gentle with my baby girl. She explained everything in detail and what to expect as death generally is not usually a pretty thing, but she truly made it beautiful. I had never witnessed death before and Cheryl made it seem like the most bittersweet, beautiful and fascinating thing even with the heartbreak. Thank you so much Cheryl you deserve the best. We had to say goodbye to our 15 year plus lab last week and Cheryl helped us through this. It was all so peaceful, sympathetic and respectful and we would recommend Cheryl to anybody who finds themselves in this end of life situation for a beloved pet. You made a truly heart-breaking time bearable and our beloved Springbatt, Harry, went to sleep in total peace, surrounded by his family and feeling very loved. What an important service, with incredible love, kindness and complete competence. We said goodbye to our cat at home last year. He was stressed by going to the vet and we didn’t want that to be his last moments. Cheryl was able to come on short notice and took incredible care of both him and us. There was no rush, everything was explained to us so we knew what to expect, and we had plenty of time for some peaceful final moments together. Thank you so much Cheryl, I can’t recommend her enough especially if your pet has any stress at all from travel to the vets, and even if not being all at home together was so lovely.

Aslan & Tiri-Pops Reunited Again: A Very Short but Beautiful Story by Tally Pendragon This is the story of how my beautiful little old doggie, a ginger Pomeranian named Tiri-Pops, takes her final journey and finds that watering hole at which her friend Aslan dwells: Her legs won't work properly any more, she can't see or hear me unless I make very loud noises any more, and her senses zone out intermittently so that she appears to be periodically lost in her own little world, oblivious, even to herself... Yet, she's happy, still eats her food, and looks forward to her walks with her newest friend, Lucky. As she makes her slow way from in to out and in again, noticing only the familiar smells of her faster years, I'm sure he feels lucky to be gambolling along beside her. But there comes a day when she's not happy, when her jaw won't work to hold the food in her mouth, when she cannot take in the water that provides her with this slow life's diminishing vitality, and will do so no more unless she can.
